Description
Hi!! We're a couple from England travelling Latin America. Having both lived near the coast in England, we love everything to do with the sea. We both come from families which have sailed all their lives and this love has been passed down. Besides sailing, we also love surfing, windsurfing and wakeboarding.
Being such keen sailors, we both appreciate nature and love escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We're taking a gap year after completing our Master's degrees in the UK, exploring and connecting with nature, learning about different cultures, and broadening our understanding of the world before starting our careers—hopefully in climate sustainability.
We’re also animal lovers! Back home, Ellie has two dogs: a cockapoo and a sprollie (a collie and springer spaniel mix). Freddy has a cat named Tommy. Leaving these three behind was definitely the hardest part of our trip!

Physically fit - Freddy played rugby back home so is more than happy carrying heavy stuff around. Ellie also enjoys staying fit by playing netball, surfing, sailing and long distance running.
Problem solving - Freddy completed a Physics Masters degree (at Oxford University!) and has a logical thought process that will look for the most straight forward way to complete a task. Ellie is not too dissimilar, having also completed a bachelors degree in Mathematics.
Water sports instructors - Our usual job at home is teaching sailing, which we have both competed in at an international level. We love being in the water and coaching has taught us a lot about communication and working as a team.
Maths and Physics Tutor - Freddy has experience tutoring maths and physics up to Oxbridge admission level whilst Ellie has no experience in maths tutoring but would be able to combine coaching experience and mathematical knowledge easily to provide maths tutoring.

Love all water sports, especially surfing, sailing and windsurfing. Also love football, rugby, netball and running, and can play chess to a not very good standard!
