I love exploring new places and contributing to meaningful projects. As an engineer, I get great satisfaction out of understanding how things work and when they don't, even greater satisfaction out of making them work again. The son of. a cabinet maker, I have good woodworking skills. Owning a sailboat has given me skills in keeping an engine running, fixing electrical, plumbing and solar issues and generally making do with what's on hand to keep things going.

Victoria is a former marketing professional as well as a passionate cook. Very dedicated to local, sustainable food production, we owned a small cafe for a number of years as well as many years in the hospitality industry. former Airbnb host and stacks of experience in home renovation and interior design. As landlords we're used to jumping in to resolve issues quickly and conveniently.

If I'm in a country for more that a couple of weeks, I like to learn the basics of the language and be able to make myself understood for basic needs. I've been studying Spanish the most lately but have rudimentary knowledge of French (from high school) and Greek

I have an engineering background with strong mechanical and software skills. Most of all my engineering education taught me how to solve problems.

Throughout my engineering career, in addition to the technical work, I often built teams and lead their efforts

Growing up the son of a cabinet maker, I learned woodworking skills and am proficient with most power tools

As a sailboat owner, I've gradually learned how to maintain and fix all of the systems from electrical, plumbing, solar, diesel engines and more.

Victoria is skilled at marketing (30 year high tech career), home renovation, interior design and extensive hospitality experience (mostly front of house). She ran a successful Airbnb in Austin before converting all properties to long term rentals.
