I've been told I have a green thumb. However, I also have experience with pottery (currently a pottery teacher at my local studio!) baking (I love to bake all types of bread, but also sweet things), fermentation (I used to regularly ferment a variety of vegetables) and just doing things around the house. I tend to gravitate towards any sort of activity that involves crafting or working with the hands. I love working with animals and have regularly been told that I'm good at it, although I've never lived in a place where I have really had the option to get my own pet. However, I have briefly worked as a dog-walker. Additionally I love being outside and tend to do a lot of walking and running in my everyday life. In my professional life, I've worked in public health in many years and have a variety of related technical including data analysis, making data visualizations, and creating maps of study areas and spatial patterns.
