Description
Hi, I'm Dylan! An american student studying product design at CU Boulder in Colorado. I am studying abroad in Auckland, New Zealand at AUT. My classes ends soon and I figured I'd give workaway a try, I would love to see more of this side of the world. My hobbies are skiing, camping, skateboarding, hiking, fishing, mountain or road biking, fashion, design, and more. I love to work on cool projects and help out in any way, I am always interested in new solutions to persistent problems. I chose design as my major because I am a big fan of the creative and collaborative aspects of our everyday lives. When I'm not working on projects for class, I am doing my best to get out into the wilderness with friends, find a cool new skatepark in a nearby town, and finding the holy grail thrifted peice I've been waiting for. I also really enjoy cooking and learning how to cook new dishes. I'm always open to new adentures and trying new things!

As a designer, I have done a lot of random work with wood and metal, I have good experience with a lot of tools and love to build things just for the fun of it. My major deals a lot with problem solving, so I'm always keen to come up with ideas to issues you may have. I also have done a lot of lawn work and various labor jobs to make money in highschool/over uni breaks. I have a lot of good experience and random knowledge on things and love to help out. Back in highschool, I also ran my own sneaker selling business, which sparked my love for fashion. With that being said I have a good understanding of how businesses are run and ways to attract customers.

What else ...
My semester ends around mid october, but I also have to get my wisdom teeth removed as they are killing me right now. Unsure of when the removal time may be but hoping to get it done and recovered before November. I have to be back in Auckland by November 26th to meet up with my dad for a finale abroad trip down in Rotorua.
I am also running out of travel funds, I am hoping to find a workaway gig that either consumes my time with living in an amazing place or working on a cool project. I would also be very keen to make some cash before heading back for my 2nd semester back in colorado. I did a solo campervan trip from down south up to the north of New Zealand, I'm content with traveling on my own but I've realized its not as fun as it is with friends. So I don't mind working long ours or in a beautiful remote location, just want to fill my time and experience some amazing things.
