I've got quite some interests, I'm quite handy too. So helping and fixing things in the house or outside, taking care of little children, teaching basics of music, doing things together...

Hi,

I'm going to interrupt my job as an engineer/teacher in the university of Leuven. I would like to take a step backwards to be more able to see where in the world I could contribute in non profit and/or social projects or just assist in smaller settings like a families or individuals, helping with everyday things, taking care of children, animals, garden work, building things, teaching the basics of music (I play guitar, piano, percussion, drums).
I would really appreciate that besides the work as a volunteer, it would be possible being part of a hospitable family, learn Italian and Italian cooking. And my double bass travels usually with me, I like to practise and play jazz.
Hope to realize my plan soon!
I'm quite physically active, I like to run and do trips by bike etc...
Oh yes, since 2019 I discovered things like non violent communication (Marshall Rosenberg), meditation and yoga, and I'm searching how I can give those a more important place in my life :-)

I'm quite handy but also willing to learn.
I play music, I play some guitar and piano, and I practice and play double bass (jazz).
I'm told to be a good listener :-) I'm familiar with Nonviolent Communication (NVC), but make lots of mistakes too :-)

I would appreciate a lot if I can combine my stay and work with my (almost daily) practicing playing the double bass and/or discover nearby places in nature on foot or on bike.
