Description

My name is David, a 27 year old traveling builder. I try to leave a positive impact on the places I've visited and the lives that've touched mine, hence the building & creating in the broader sense. I have a passion for the environment and for things that make the heart race, from skydiving to hiking - but especially climbing! :). Creating things, in the broadest sense of the word (from a painting to a house) is something I'd love to help you with/do for you. Certified yoga teacher, grew up with both my mom and sister teaching as well: I love yoga, and love sharing it!

I would say my most defining character trait (skill) is something we call 'leergierig' in Dutch (literally translated learning stingy), which simply means very eager to learn. Combine this with my similarly Dutch working ethic and I'm confident you can teach me anything you'd want within a reasonable amount of time :)
I'm generally handy (woodwork/electrically/in general, built some vans and a bunch of things at workaways over the years), and because of my de facto IT manager job once I'm sure I'd be able to help out in the digital world as well (built some websites in my day, too).
In hostel like settings I'm an entertainer: be it tours, quizzes or general linking of people, this is what people have described as 'what I do best'.
