Hello lovely people, I’m Danny. I’m 35 and I come from Scotland 🏴I’m so excited to have joined the workaway community.
I recently took the step of quitting my 9-5 and decided to spend some time travelling to new places while I pursue my ambition of becoming an online life coach and counsellor.
I decided to embark on this career when I finally realised that I have a passion for giving advice and guidance and helping others improve their lives and reach their potential.
I love to meet and get to know new people, especially those from outside the UK as I love learning about new cultures. I’m interested in having deep chats and really getting to know people. My favourite topics of conversation are history, politics and religion but I love discussing movies, tv and music etc.
I can be quite an introverted person at first but once I become comfortable in my surroundings and who I’m with I can quickly become the life of the party.
I plan to arrive in Portugal in early February and stay until early may. I truly cant wait to start as its been a few years since I have had the chance to do some long term travelling.
One of my main reasons for travelling is to meet new friends and travel companions so if you’re going to be in Portugal from February to May you can hit me up!

I have quite a lot of experience carrying out different kinds of construction tasks. I have some experience in woodwork and bricklaying, as well as painting and plastering.
I also have experience working in industrial kitchens.
