Hello!
I'm Richard, a 23-year-old from Slovakia, currently taking a gap year between my bachelor's and master's in philosophy (with a bit of maths). Right now, I'm visiting my family in Sydney, and since I've had a fantastic experience with Workaway before, I'd love to take this opportunity to explore more of Australia through it.
I'm a curious, responsible, and hardworking person who enjoys new experiences, exploring different cultures, and meeting new people. Growing up in a rural area, I'm comfortable with hands-on tasks around the house and garden. I also find manual work to be a great way to unwind from my intellectual work.
I love being active—trail running, hiking, climbing, and ashtanga yoga are some of my favourite ways to connect with nature, especially in the mountains. Beyond the outdoors, I have a passion for literature, photography, art, movies, and cooking. I also enjoy sports like tennis, soccer, and swimming.

I come from a rural area in Slovakia so I already know some basics of gardening, taking care of animals, basic renovation, housekeeping, etc.
Moreover, I consider myself hard-working and a quick learner with a great interest in getting better at work around the house/farm so I'm open to any manual work. I also really love to cook, so I'll be happy to help in the kitchen!
Lastly, I can help you with maths, physics, literature or philosophy basics if there ever comes a time you'll need it ;)
