  • Description

Hello! I'm Cori from Italy! Oenology and Viticulture graduate at university of Bologna, after which I went on a sabbatical and travelled all across New Zealand for a year, where I managed to learn different jobs and have many different experiences. I now returned to Italy where I work as a tour guide/sales associate for a boutique winery in the Chianti Classico wine area, in Tuscany. I am bilingual (Italian/English), have a good knowledge of German and basic knowledge of French. I also took Portuguese and photography classes!
I love travelling and visiting new places, meeting new people and sharing experiences.
I love staying outdoors, I love nature and animals! I am easy going with a good sense of humor, and I like trying and learning new things.

  • More details about your skills

Having workawayed and stayed at different b&bs and hostels, as well as having experience in the hospitality field, I acquired many skills working with people and tourists. Prior to my current employment I was working as a wine adviser at Eataly in Milan, where I also broadened my knowledge of Italian food&wine. Now I am responsible for tours, tastings and sales in a gorgeous winery in Italy. That means that part of my job is welcoming people from all over the world, interacting with them, making them feel home. I am a fast learner and can prioritize different tasks.
I also have some (basic) experience in a kitchen with serving and prepping for events. I can do some admin work and know my way around a computer.
