Description
Hi! We’re Clarissa (22) and Giorgio (20), two friends from Italy currently travelling together and looking for new adventures through Workaway!
We met while working in catering, and quickly became best friends — now we’ve decided to take this energy on the road and explore the world together :))
I (Clarissa) am an interior designer, creative and curious by nature. Giorgio studied at a culinary and hospitality school, and although we both work in catering, we’re open to any kind of experience — from hospitality and cooking to helping with animals, creative projects or outdoor work. We’re both very interested in learning about different traditions and cultures around the world.
We’re pretty similar in spirit: cheerful, adaptable, and always ready for a new challenge (or a slightly crazy adventure). Giorgio is more spontaneous and full of humor — he’s the one making jokes (and usually laughing the hardest at them) — while I tend to be more calm and observant at first, but once comfortable, I’m open, friendly, and love connecting with others.
We both speak Italian (native), English (Clarissa has a C1 and Gio's getting comfortable with it), and Spanish at a conversational level. We enjoy language exchange, and would be happy to help others practice Italian or English while improving our Spanish in return.
I (Clarissa) am passionate about photography, embroidery and design, while Giorgio is great with practical work and cooking. We both love animals, and I have some experience with horses, while Giorgio is always happy to help and learn.
My mom has been runnin a bed & breakfast for over 15 years, so I’m used to interacting with international guests and working in a welcoming, multicultural environment. Giorgio, with his hospitality background, fits right in — together we enjoy making people feel at home and bringing positive energy wherever we go.
We’re looking for experiences that allow us to learn, contribute and share — whether it’s helping around a house, cooking, taking care of animals, or working outdoors. We love meeting new people, discovering local lifestyles, and embracing spontaneous moments along the way.
Our motto could be “go where the wind takes us” — we don’t plan too much, we just follow good vibes, learn as we go, and try to make every place we visit a little brighter ✨✨

More details about your skills
I speak Italian (native), English (C1) and I also understand and speak some Spanish. I really enjoy learning new languages and I would be happy to share mine with others.
For 12 years I studied music (violin), an experience that taught me discipline, patience, creativity and how rewarding it is to dedicate myself to something with consistency. Music has always been an important part of my life and continues to inspire me in many ways.
I love creative activities: embroidery, painting and photography are passions I practice often, and I would love to learn crocheting as well. I also enjoy reading and writing, which keep me curious and open to new perspectives.
I am comfortable in the kitchen, as I enjoy cooking and preparing meals for others. I also have experience taking care of animals – mainly dogs and cats – and I know the basics of looking after horses, which has taught me a lot about responsibility and connection with animals.
From past experiences, I discovered that I work best in a team, because I like learning from others and exchanging skills and ideas. I also had the chance to volunteer in a summer camp with children and teenagers: even if working with kids is not my favorite, the experience gave me useful skills in communication, adaptability and responsibility.
Overall, I would describe myself as a creative, reliable and open-minded person, eager to share my skills but also to learn new ones. I like to approach every situation with curiosity and positive energy, and I am always happy to contribute wherever I can be helpful.
