    Short version:
I am a linguist, a humanist and a university teacher. I can share everything I know about languages, communication, Italian literature and culture, teaching modalities, philosophy and spirituality. However, I also have good skills in gardening (practiced in the countryside, where I used to live in Italy), work with animals, building projects.

    Extended version:
Since 2020, I have been employed at Università della Svizzera italiana as teaching assistant and Ph.D. student. My research work is part of a Swiss National Science Foundation project and concerns Linguistics, Sociology and multimodal communication. In addition, I teaches courses to students (Master's and Bachelor's) about General Linguistics and Interactional Linguistics.
In 2017 I received a Bachelor's degree in Italian culture and literature, and after that I obtained a Master’s degree in Modern, Classical, Comparative Philology and Linguistics, in 2019.

For 10 years I have collaborated to national and regional projects of the Italian Red Cross (NGO). As a volunteer, I operated in the field of Civil Protection, taking part in the management of camps and water sanitation infrastructures, after the earthquakes of L'Aquila (2009) and Amatrice (2016). Then, I actively worked to national campaigns that aimed at spreading Red Cross' values and a culture of peace among population, especially in schools.

In 2015 I travelled to Japan. My main goal was to deepen my practice of Zen Buddhism. Therefore, I have stayed for almost 2 months in the Antaiji monastery, in Hyōgo prefecture. The monastery hosts an international community and its life is based on mediation practice and work, in order to maintain a total self-sufficiency. Staying there I learned a lot about gardening, agriculture (rice and vegetables), building and repairing, woodworking, cooking (traditional Japanese food). After that, I moved to Tanable, in Wakayama prefecture, where I worked as a teacher of English as second language to children of a local English school, held by an American and a Japanese teachers (thanks to Workaway). In addition, I helped them with the general maintenance of the building.
I have also visited Zen monasteries and temples in Europe, working to tasks similar to what I did in Antaiji.
