Hello future host!
My name is Cheyenne. I am a 21-year-old from Melbourne, Australia. I am currently studying to be a doctor.
During 2024 I will be taking a year off to travel and get to know the country where my grandparents come from - Italy. I have been teaching myself Italian for 2 years to prepare for this trip. I am so excited to learn about the culture & explore every corner of Italy (and other countries too if the opportunity arises). I also hope to make lots of friends on my travels - I would love to show them my home country of Australia in the future.
I am a hard worker - both physically & mentally. I grew up training 15 hours a week in competitive gymnastics whilst studying super hard to get into medical school. I am a very friendly person who loves to have fun & make connections with people, but I will always get my work done to a high standard.
If the tasks you give me are new to me - it's okay, I love learning new things and will put 100% of my effort into becoming an expert at it. I am always open to feedback regarding how I can improve.Interests

Being a medical student, I have demonstrated a strong capacity to learn, so even skills I do not know yet, I am confident that I have the ability to attain it if I work hard!
I taught children's gymnastics for 3 years & tutored high-school students in science for 2 years. In my medical training, we also learn how to teach/explain things to patients. Therefore, I feel that teaching (to people of all ages) is a skill of mine. I have also been an au pair in Italy on two occasions.
I am a strong & fit girl. I have no specific skills in trade work (plumbing, carpentry etc.), but I am not afraid of physical work.
I pay attention to detail. I enjoy tedious, precise work.
Moreover, I am very independent, self-sufficient & trustworthy. I have spent multiple months travelling on my own which has taught me how to problem-solve. I ask for help when I need it but can be relied upon to complete my tasks.
I also love to cook & bake yummy vegan food.Age

What else ...
I do not shy away from a challenge. I stay resilient even when it becomes hard. I am very confident in the fact that I am a hard-worker. I am able to adapt to new situations - in the last 4 years, I have lived in 6 different places & travelled to more than 10 countries. In doing so, I have been exposed to so many new situations, all of which I have overcome. I see myself as a very proactive person - I look ahead and predict what needs to be done in advance. I also see my love of learning as a significant strength - I don't want to stay inside my small box of comfort.
