I love exploring and learning about new places and cultures, and I love teaching people of all ages and nationalities. Activities include hiking, skiing, cycling, books, movies, cooking, writing, arts and crafts, and spending time with friends.

I'm a runner. I have run 6 marathons. I'm an avid bridge player. I am married with 3 grown up children. I have taught ESL in Vancouver, Japan and most recently The Dominican Republic for more than 3 decades. For years I have been wanting to start practicing yoga and meditation, but I haven't done it yet. :(
