My name is Cathal and I will be traveling through South America for over 6 months.
I'm a simple soul who finds joy in nature and in connecting with open-hearted, passionate people. My intention for this journey is to embrace wild adventures, discover breathtaking landscapes, delve into the rich cultures and histories of the countries I visit, and meet beautiful people along the way.
I'm excited to learn Spanish so I can truly understand and connect with the locals, and engage with those who share a passion for the Earth and humanity's well-being. I bring a range of valuable experiences. I’ve worked hands-on at a pet farm, caring for animals and maintaining the grounds, which strengthened my work ethic and connection with animals. Currently, I work as a catering assistant at a hospital, where I've developed empathy and compassion through serving patients.
With a degree in psychology, I have insights into human behavior and well-being, which I aim to use to make a positive impact. Additionally, I’m passionate about photography and enjoy using it to tell compelling visual stories. I’d be happy to contribute these skills to document our shared experiences.

In addition to my previously mentioned experiences, I have a deep passion for writing and reading. Exploring different worlds through literature is a true joy. Photography and art are my creative outlets, helping me capture and express life's moments. I'm an all-sports enthusiast, from Gaelic football to basketball, and I enjoy the balance of yoga and meditation to keep me centered. I also find immense fascination in the occult, as well as other religious texts and spirituality, which add a layer of depth and mystery to my journey.
