I’m 22 and born and raised in Copenhagen. These years I'm exploiting the freedom of time in between studies and work, so I'm looking for unique experiences like the month of harvest and vinification I did in Le Marche during my workaway stay this September 2024:)

In terms of skills and interests I've worked as a waitress at restaurants in Copenhagen where I've grown a strong affinity of good food and natural wines. I'm also a fairly creative person and enjoy things like drawing, cooking and DIY-ing a lot, so any artistic or practical tasks you throw at me I'll greet with joy:) I also studied permaculture and film production for a semester at a "højskole" (short term vocational school), and this year I'm looking to expand on these interests and others and meet some lovely international people to share my experiences with(:

At present I work part-time at a natural wine bar, as I’ve decided to take a break from studying biochemistry at the university of Copenhagen this year to pursue my other interests (namely natural wine and film production).

I took a semester of permaculture in 2022 at a danish "højskole" (or vocational school), where our student team worked closely together with each other and the teacher to build up a permaculture "garden" with aspirations to feed a school of 70 live-in adult students and teachers. I'm quite nifty and very happy to do gardening work, whether it be heavy shoveling and wheelbarrowing or weeding and planting seeds. Furthermore, I simultaneously took a semester of film production at the same højskole, and from that I've increased by team building experiences and project managing skills.

I also know my way around a kitchen and love trying out new recipes, so if you'd like I'd be very happy to cook dinner for you and your family(: I'm pescatarian and mostly do vegetarian recipes, but I'll whip up some fish as well if you wish. I'm generally self-sufficient with most housework and can tend to any household chores that might occur at my workaway stay. That also includes handiwork, which I'm trying to learn to do myself but will need some assistance with.

I'm currently studying biochemistry at the University of Copenhagen and I'm generally science-curious and love conversations about our universe and the wonderful things it has created.

Lastly, I'm fluent in both Danish and English, as I'm born in Denmark but did 4 years of high school in Seattle. I also speak, read and write French at a tourist level, which I would love to practice and expand on.

What else ...

I love watching a good movie and TV show. Also a huge fan of board games, though I don't play them nearly enough:)

I love going for walks, hiking and sometimes the occasional run, and I draw in my sketchbook and sew quite a lot

I also LOVE pets and will probably show a picture of my doodle dog
