Description
Hi there!! I'm Bruno from Portugal.
I will be moving to Berlin in November with the aim of getting to know one of the most historical cities in the worlds, with its famous underground scene and the beautiful landscapes surrounding the city. And to know what it makes it so famous, I feel I have to mingle with locals and get to know their lifestyles, projects and views. While doing that I would like to offer as much help as possible, share a good laugh (or cry) and strive for deep connections.
I quitted my job as a banker 3 years ago and have been trying out some new jobs and ways of living. With that in mind, I decided to travel to Costa Rica and Nicaragua a year ago and did some volunteer work there: be a host & bartender at a hostel; working at a farm. For me, it was the best way of travelling and I want to continue to work with local projects wherever I go.
I'm very curious in volunteers about bio-construction, permaculture, gardening, plant medicine, carpentry (which I already did an introductionary workshop)... basically any DIY work. I do not have any experience on any of these fields, but I would love to learn more about it.
Would enjoy to learn German!

In terms of academics I come from the fields of study of management so I can always help with anything related to marketing, accounting or Excel.
But I'm honestly more than ever looking to improve "hands-on" activities such as carpentry, DIY, cleaning, cooking.
Worked for more than a year in the tourism sector so I'm very keen on anything related to hospitality and connecting with people of different backgrounds.
I'm a very beginner guitar and DJ player and have a huge interest in music. Some experience in organising local parties or so called "raves".
Fluency in English, Dutch and Portuguese. Basic/Advanced Spanish and an embarrassing French ;)
