Hey there! My name is Blanka.
Here's a little bit about me... I just finished university in Budapest and decided to put my backpack on and travel. I love that life can wonderfully surprise you at any corner. That's one of the reasons why I love to travel. Honestly, it's quite easy to put a smile on my face. Cheap flight tickets, sea, sunshine (a lot!), good food, live music, people and I could keep going...
I want to do some Workaway job because even tho I'm traveling, I need something that makes me get up every day. Some routine won't hurt. I like taking my time to get to know what's around me, so slow traveling is something I adore.

I have experience in hostel work! I've been working in a big hostel in the heart of Budapest for a year now. I have day and night shifts at the reception and I also lead pub crawls for guests. I've learned so much patience and I would say I'm good with people.

I have a BA in Business Administration. I took Marketing classes where I was focusing on creative marketing. During university years I gained advanced presentation skills.

I'm definitely a team player, but I'm not afraid of working by myself.

Due to circumstances outside the hostel, I did not stay as long as I had first planned. But that little time was great! All the receptionists are incredibly nice and welcoming, the owners are really helpful.
And a huge shout out to María, the head of the kitchen, always there for you. I loved working with her, she always lifted my spirits!!!!

Blanka was super nice and polite with the rest of the staff and guests and respect de rules of the hostel. Se was kind and always positive in her behaviour. I would take her as volunteer again.
