I love to live in new places for a long enough experience that I can get a better understanding of its time and flow, what it really feels like to live there. I value having an opportunity to work on a project in a place and become a part of a small community, while finding a balance of work/discovery/enjoyment. I'm a DIY home-owner and an artist. I'm a decent cook, a photographer, a gardener. I love music and finding experiences/places that instill a sense of awe. I'm a mediocre surfer and a semi-skilled carpenter. And maybe a little more :)

Susana and Malcolm are great hosts, generous and very busy. They run a beautiful vegan cafe with a magical garden in the back. I helped with a bunch of repair projects that they didn't have time for, and it helps great to be able to help them out. Gab is a passionate and positive host. I helped with one of his events, hosting and cooking for a wedding party/reception. He created a beautiful meal and environment for the celebration.
