  • Description

Hello ! My name is Bérénice and I am a 21 year old French girl. I was a law student.

In february 2023, I quit my study because of depression. I took some time for my and my mental health, and then I rejoined my girl best friend who was in Australia.
I'm currently back in France but I'm going back to Australia at the end of September for working again at a bar as a glassys and waitresse.

Last daughter of a family of four sisters, I am very close to my family and friends. In my group of friends, I am often called "the mother" because I am the one they turn to when they have difficulties.
I am a very sociable person, listening, curious and always ready to help. The people around me also say that I am very mature and kind.

A few of my passions are discovering any places where I am and watching anime ( I'm a big fan of naruto as you can see in my pictures :) ). I am also passionate about history.

I lived abroad : 6 months in Australia and 3 months in Japan.
In Australia, I was principaly working and I took a month for visiting bigs cities like Sydney or Melbourne. The goal of that part of my trip was to improve my english skills. I can say with enough confidence that I have a really good level of english, not perfect and I learned that sometimes because of the accent it can be a little complicated to communicate, but I always find a way to understand or be understandable. And I have to say, for a French, I am a pretty good english speaker :)

For my trip in Japan, it was completly different. I was alone most of the time, going cities to cities, enjoying my time, meeting people, discovering beautiful places, eat so many differents and yummy foods... I think one of my cheerish memory is seeing Fujiyama. That was really magical and I can't wait to go back one day.
I was also in a workaway family for a month : with Mitake-san and Emi-san. I has such a good time with them. This two people make me realize that a trip is not complete if you don't live with locals.

Traveling this past year make me realize that I am not ready yet to return to France to go back to school or find a job ; I will one day and I'll probably be in the social field, but for now I just want to discover South Asia.

I really want to be part of the community in any country I get the chance to visit. I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me about all aspects of your country, teach me about your way of cooking, your way of thinking, everything. I'm really curious and open-minded, so it's very interesting for me to compare with my own point of view and my own education.
For the family where I am staying for a long time, I would like to be a member of the family. I want to go out with you, to eat with you, to be considere as a big sister or daughter.

If you are interested in my profile or have any questions, we could discuss it further !

Can't wait to see the beauty of the world and his people, and to meet you :) xx

  • More details about your skills

When I was 18 and 19, I have been doing assistance at home for elderly, so I know how to take care of others. I love to cook, and I help a lot around the house in a lots of differents fields, it can be cleaning up, tidying up or doing the washing, even mow, garden. Whatever you like !

In Australia I was working as a waitress, glassys and sometimes bartender. I was also doing housekeeping in a motel.

In Japan, my family doesn't have kids so I was in charge of the cleaning of the house ( any cleaning you can imagine ) and I was helping in the gardens ( planting vegetables, taking care of them, removing weeds, digging up and replanting a small shrub ... ). I was also cooking sometimes when they were asking to.

Very sociable, I like being in contact with people. I am comfortable with children, and would love to play with them and take them to the park ! I believe that I can learn something for everyone whether it is an adult or a child. However, I'll probably not speak your mothertongue so I won't be able to help your children with their homework. But if it's French or English, I can do it !

I would also be delighted to teach you French and make conversation in French if you wish. I know it's an interesting language, but also a complicated one to learn (even the French, including me, don't always know how to write certain words correctly !! ). But if you give me a chance, I'd love to give it a try !

In general, I am a perfectionist, so when I start something I like to finish it : )
