Hello there (:

We are Hanna (28) & Clemens (31) - a couple from Germany with a WHV for New Zealand. Currently we're at a Workaway on the North island. We're now looking for a Workaway in Queenstown/ Wanda from mid/end of May 2024 as we would like to spend the winter in the area.

We are open minded, love making new experiences & can't wait to meet you!

Workaway jobs we've done:
・building a build-in cabinet with glass doors
・interior house renovations
・gardening
・replacing wooden handrails for an outdoor stair/ deck
・picking grapes at a vineyard
・bottling at a winery
・clearing a shed
・house cleaning
・building a wooden staircase to connect to outdoor decks
・building a bookshelf out of solid wood

・ I love cooking and baking - the kitchen is literally my home sweet home ♥︎
・ driver's license (manual) with more than 10 years of driving experience (also abroad)
・ first aid certificate
・ babysitting; have been an au pair in 4 different families (kids from 2 months to 7 years)
・ hospitality; have been working in a cafe, pub and juice bar in Australia (allrounder - FOH, kitchen hand, bartender, waitress etc.) and at a festival in Germany (bartender)
・ tourism; have been guiding a group for one week (hiking, adventure sports) in the German Alps
・ agriculture; have been working in a vineyard during spring and summer including bottling and at an organic farm including farmers markets

・ professional experience in carpentry, joinery, international shop fitting & project management in shop construction
・ some experience in roofing, scaffolding, construction work, operating excavator & crane, farm work
・ driver's license (manual) & tractor with driving experience abroad
・ German forklift & several crane licenses
・ working holiday experience in Australia (2014/2015) - scaffolding & carpentry

We like to apply our skills but also like to try and learn new things, use our hands and are not afraid to get them dirty.
