  • Description

Hey! We are two best friends who recently graduated and are excited to travel the world together, while meeting amazing people in the process.

We love the outdoors and everything to do with nature. We are very determined and hardworking people and love to travel. We are motivated by wanting to always give our fullest and do the best work that is possible. We love making connections and fully enjoying our time.

    A little about Autumn:
I played Rugby in college and was part of our Hiking Club! I've spent over 6 years volunteering at the Philadelphia Zoo and teaching guests about conservation and animals. I additionally was able to study Asian Elephants in Cambodia for a few weeks and write almost a 100 page research paper about it. I love the outdoors and use every chance I get to explore it. I'm a huge fan of any kind of game (board, card, you name it!) and will always give my 100% with it. I'm an avid runner and always try to find new trails to keep exploring. Now some random facts about me! When I was little, I trained my dog in dog agility and even competed a couple of times! I also used to horseback ride and did some competitions there as well! I love to cook and love finding the best plant-based meals. I am a "do-er" and do my best to complete any task given to me. Additionally, I love coffee and have worked at a coffee shop for a couple months now! I also love plants and will take care of them unconditionally. I consider myself to be a bubbly person and love talking to everyone and learning about everything.

    A little about Natalie:
I was a part of a volunteer group back home for 5 years before moving to Colorado for college. During college, I worked at our campus bookstore and graduated in 3 years with a B.A. in integrative physiology and a minor in business. I've been working for the past year and a half at a small physical therapy clinic and have enjoyed helping the people in my community through it. I enjoy reading and writing and often find myself lost in the mini worlds I create and explore. I love watching glass blowers and seeing the intricate artwork they can create with such a unique medium. I allow my mind to get lost in museums, enjoying even the simplest of paintings. I can be rather shy at first, but challenge myself to go beyond my comfort zone and try new things, even if I may end up not enjoying it. I can be quite competitive but have found it's important to not shy away from failure; that I can find joy and growth in allowing myself to be bad at things and always push to improve even the smallest of my flaws. I find myself to hav a bit of a green thumb, though I may not always know specifically what a plant may need. I grew up with pets and currently have 2 cats my sister and I live with, and they are the lights of my life.

  • More details about your skills

We both are very committed, determined, and reliable workers. We work very well with others and love getting to know the people around us. Our skills and expertise include: customer service, multi-tasking, great prioritization, strong-willed, hardworking, and active in every community we have been in. We are both graduates from the University of Colorado, Boulder in two different degrees and both have minors. We ultimately offer our hosts the guarantee of hard workers who want to gain the most knowledge that we can during our stay. While we do not have the most skills with carpentry and wood work, we are both open to learn and are fast learners with everything!

  • What else ...

We love board games such as Blockus, Bananagrams, Uno, Card games, Life, Checkers, Chess, and any other mind challenging games. We both love to read and write. We are both active and love exploring the outdoors. We love our pets and every animal we encounter, but not spiders ...

With our travels, we are highly concerned with fully immersing ourselves within the culture and love visiting museums, historic sites, national parks, etc. Some of our goals include learning about sustainable farming, finding new ways to make coffee/tea, learning about local cuisine, having a better work-life balance, biking all around, and ultimately work on ourselves as a whole. We would love to learn niche things as well, like how to crochet, prune a tree, make our own tea, and anything else we could learn from our hosts. We are very open people and love to learn about everything and anything.
