Hello! 😊
We are Alexandra (23) and Jolina (22) from Austria, best friends since kindergarten and passionate animal lovers. This July/August, we are excited to travel to Australia for the first time! It will also be our first experience working abroad and using Workaway. We are looking forward to this new adventure.
Alexandra: I am currently in my 5th year of studying Veterinary Medicine in Vienna. I've always been passionate about animals and knew from an early age that I wanted to work with them. My free time I mostly spend with friends or you can find me in the stable.
Jolina: I am studying Marketing and Media Management while also working in the marketing field. In my free time, I love being at the stables, spending time with my young horse, or going for long walks with my dog, which is by my side ever since I was a kid.
We would describe ourselves as open-minded, helpful, and empathetic people who aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty. We're always eager to learn and happy to take on new challenges. Together, we have trained and started riding our young horses, which you can see in our profile picture, and would therefore call ourselves advanced riders.
We love being outdoors, whether it's at the stables, hiking or just taking in nature. But we also enjoy cozy evenings together, chatting for hours and relax.
Since we love horseback riding, we would be thrilled to find a place where we can spend our time with wonderful horses, go on bush rides, and explore the surroundings. Another goal during this trip is to improve our English skills while experiencing authentic Australian ranch life.
We're looking forward to meeting new people, learning new skills, and making unforgettable memories. We would love to get to know ranch life in Australia and also share some of our culture with you! :)

The cabin accommodation is beautiful, with its own kitchen and bathroom, offering plenty of privacy and comfort.
