Hello all!
I'm here to make new connections, have long and winding conversations, find beauty in unfamiliar pockets of the world, and contribute something to them if I can. Problem solving and completing tasks in effective, creative and beautiful ways is so satisfying to me. I also love to learn, and am especially interested in plant medicine, and traditional agricultural and land management practices. I'm a hard worker and a considerate guest. I studied plant ecology during my undergraduate degree, and am OBSESSED with plants' inner workings and their relationships to each other. I'm eager to learn more!

I've got an artistic eye! I pick up a new kind of craft about every 6 months. I love doing pottery, drawing, painting, knitting, crocheting, lino-cutting, jewelry making, sewing, etc. I can also give some pretty great haircuts (layering and all!) and cook good food. I was also lucky enough to grow up with a dad who insisted I know how to change my own oil, paint a room, use power tools, etc.. I love to fix things. If you give me something to build or decorate, I'll make it durable and beautiful. I also know how to ask for help when my knowledge isn't quite enough for the task at hand.

I speak conversational French, and am actively working on my Spanish. For now, I can understand about half of what's said to me and communicate pretty effectively using a small but useful vocabulary in addition to charades. If anyone is looking to learn English, I'd be more than willing to help!

I've worked as an environmental educator, and generally love hanging out with kiddos. I can absolutely help out with childcare.

I also sing and write poetry, but can keep those to myself if preferred ;P
