Description
Perhaps my biggest motivation in how I live my life is trying to do good. I work hard to be a welcoming and inclusive person to everyone I meet in life. I am motivated to create a positive impact on the people and environment around me. Some things that bring me happiness is reading, hanging out with friends, hiking, biking, kayaking, and really just being outside.

Growing up, chores and helping out around the house were guarantees. It was always expected to do yard work and miscellaneous tasks around the house. I am comfortable using tools, but may need some refreshers before any power tool using. Cutting the grass, trimming bushes, raking, gardening, pulling weeds, chopping firewood, and more are all tasks I have spent plenty of time doing. I have also babysat and worked with children for the past ten years of my life so I really enjoy any interactions with kids. Overall, I am a quick learner and someone who has no problem doing physically intense labor. I can adapt to diverse situations and can help problem solve.

I am currently finishing my college degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. I will finish in August with a Bachelors of Science degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in environmental engineering, but am looking to travel before I find a career. Last year I studied at Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Hungary. I spent 5 months in Budapest living with 8 other international students and absolutely loved my time there and all the traveling I did. After this I spent a month in Romania helping out on a beekeeping farm which was an incredible experience.
I love to play card games, and would love to be able to teach them to others and maybe pick up a few more too :). I also enjoy doing puzzles - especially as a group activity. My favorite part about this past semester in Budapest was living with international students and being able to learn about their lifestyles and cultures. Some more information
