Hi Workaway hosts! I'm a fiction writer who loves the outdoors and connecting with new people and places. I have a positive and drama-free disposition, and I enjoy making new friends and working hard. As a writer whose work often focuses on the environment and people's place in it, I can think of no better inspiration than traveling. Nowadays, it's easy to travel to a new place and impassively exchange money for a country’s amazing culture and hospitality. What I love about Workaway is the chance to truly learn immerse yourself in a place and give back to the community. Working with locals is one of the best ways to get to know a new place.

I am a writer by training, but most of my work experience has involved manual labor and interacting closely with both coworkers and strangers. I have worked as a farmer, landscaper, house and pet sitter, usher, and salesperson. I am happy to contribute any of these skills. I am an untrained but enthusiastic home cook. In my previous volunteer experiences abroad, I have worked in housekeeping and reception. I am also flexible and love learning new things!
