Hi, I’m Archana Asrani, Indian, Interior Designer by profession and a traveller by passion. I live in Bangalore, India with my husband and 2 lovely children Aarushi, 20 and Saket 18. I love to travel and meet people and imbibe the joy travel affords. I strongly believe in the adage “ Not all who wander are lost”.
I am an environment conscious,a Certified Yoga teacher and love to experiment with cooking foreign cuisines. I am a diligent worker and have a fetish for cleanliness. I love to meet people from new cultures and living in an environment with the work-away family would give me the experience of living like a local in a foreign land.
I love the outdoors and am a mountain person and a chance to live, help and explore the world excites me. Being an interior designer, my work skills are tuned to making living/work spaces attractive and vibrant. I have been volunteering and teaching English to underprivileged children in Bangalore and I enjoy the innocence that children have and I strongly believe in the ethos of giving back to the world a measure of happiness.
I would want to be a part of the workaway adventurer and would welcome the opportunity to experience new cultures and living and working alongside families, arriving like a stranger and leaving as a friend.
I’m open to helping out in general, cooking, baking, English, yoga and also any interior solutions/improvements

Archana has been a very nice company and although she didn't have any experience in gardening, she did her best. She got very experienced in picking wild mushrooms!

I stayed with Heidi and Thomas and their family for 2 weeks in October.They really made me feel welcome!The work is not at all difficult,food was organic and delicious,my room extremely comfortable!

It was very good to have Archana with us for a while. She was very helpful, comprehensive, understood the flow of work of our daily life, and she can really cook great food! Believe, I am an ex-chef!
