Description
Hi hi! I'm from the midwest United States with plans to not live there for my whole life! I'm a Global Studies student interested in environmental justice and human rights, planning on going into Peace Corps following graduation.
I love languages, nature, working hands on and helping people, reading, art (prints, pottery, painting), music (classical viola/violin, vocal jazz and most other genres), and am really excited by the prospect of sailing. Getting involved and learning about sustainable living is my goal in addition to meeting people from many different backgrounds and passions.

I am very adaptable and have many different skillsets to apply. I have worked as kitchen staff, worked in cornfields and my family gardens, as an English teacher, as an art instructor, and more. I like to cook and clean, I have painted many a wall in my life, and have a pretty good eye for interior design. I also have some experience now with restoring old wooden boats. I am not an expert at anything but I am open to learning anything that would be useful, and I will pick it up pretty quickly.

I really enjoy hiking and most other nature activities, and I like the idea of making my own clothing. I used to play soccer and really enjoy being active with other people as well. I've always been interested in being in a band, and am also interested in picking up more artforms like woodworking, because I've always wanted to make my own violin or viola. I do love a good card game, like Mao, Dutch Blitz, or Uno, and I really enjoy Bananagrams as well.
