We're Anna and Paula. I'm Anna, and I'll be turning 24 soon. I'm from Barcelona and studied Psychology at the University of Barcelona, followed by a Master's in Social Psychology. Despite not working as a psychologist, I have experience in educational environments and private tutoring. Music has been a significant part of my life; I play the flute, piano, and a bit of guitar, and I love to sing. I'm a social person who enjoys meaningful conversations and being surrounded by people. Raised with a mother who loves plants, I've inherited a deep passion for gardening and nature. I'm eager to learn more about horticulture, permaculture, and sustainable living practices, committed to a zero-waste lifestyle. I enjoy reading, especially at the beach, and spending time with animals, while maintaining a primarily vegetarian diet.
I'm Paula, nearly 26 years old, from Olot, a small city near Barcelona, now living in the city. I hold a degree in Art History from the University of Barcelona and completed a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Literature History. Recently, I worked as an educational advisor at a textbook publishing house and also as a weekend waitress. I'm passionate about art in all forms, such as music, dance, literature, and theater. I play the violin and the sac de gemecs (catalan pippes). Growing up in a rural area, I developed a deep appreciation for nature, animals, and sustainable living practices, influenced greatly by my father's profession as a gardener. His work inspired my interest in permaculture and horticulture, areas I aim to deepen my knowledge in. I maintain a low-waste lifestyle and follow a mostly vegetarian diet. I enjoy meeting new people, engaging in cultural exchanges, and learning about different traditions. I have had Workaway experiences in Guatemala, Peru, Italy, and Greece, focusing on education, farming, and animal welfare.
We're both outgoing individuals who enjoy socializing and meeting new people. We both enjoy exploring new cultures, reading, and cooking. We love cooking together and are always eager to learn new recipes. Singing is also something we enjoy and often find ourselves doing spontaneously.
This August or September, we're looking forward to the possibility of traveling together to a European country, as we have limited vacation time, depending on the project we find. Next year, we plan to travel to Brazil, India, or Nepal, but we're open to going elsewhere if we find projects that interest us.

We both have experience with education, me Anna working as a monitor in a school and doing remedial classes. I, Paula, also have experience with education thanks to the other workaways and having taught dance workshops. But we especially want to learn about gardening and permaculture, and to be surrounded by animals, and take care of them.
