Description
Hello! We are Anika and Louis, a couple from Canada. After spending the past few years living, working and going to school in Victoria, BC, we are ready to expand what our notion of "home" looks like. We are looking to deepen our travel with workaway and to gain some valuable experiences. We would love to spend some time helping out in the realms of: permaculture, gardening, farming, herbalism, natural building, general maintenance and animal care (especially sheep!). We are also very open to child care, language exchange and house sitting.
We both have experience housesitting and caring for a variety of animals. I (Anika) spent 3 months working on a large scale herb farm as part of a herbalism internship in 2024 and discovered a real passion for farming and permaculture. I am also a trained herbalist and would love to share that knowledge with others. Louis has experience with building projects, permaculture, and gardening. We are both incredibly curious and love trying new things and making new connections!

We are both strong and healthy hard workers who are up to try new things! Louis has experience with landscaping, gardening, permaculture and building. Anika is a trained herbalist, yoga teacher, and has years of experience living on a farm caring for various animals.
