Hi! I’m Angela!
I grew up in Malaysia, attended Columbia University in New York, and currently work remotely as an education consultant while traveling with a little dog, Joy.
I have a degree in Financial Economics but am a teacher by trade. I’ve actually been teaching English since I was in high school, and now tutor students from around the world who are applying to universities in the US.
My special passion is dogs. I truly love them, and have since I was a child. The fact that I can’t go anywhere without my dog speaks volumes, and I consider them to be some of the purest most wholesome creatures that exist. Simply spending time with a dog can slow me down and put me at ease.

As a freelance writer, I’ve worked with multinational banks and startups on their communications, outreach, and social media strategy.
I’ve also worked as an English tutor in both the United States and Malaysia. I scored a 120/120 on the TOEFL iBT, so I’m also happy to help people who require a more formal approach.
More broadly speaking, I love animals and dabbling with arts and crafts. I may lack formal experience in these areas, but am a keen and quick learner!
