Hi! I'm Andrew, an adventurous and creative soul with a passion for connecting with others. I’m social, kind, and known for being fun to be around. I love bringing energy and laughter to any group. My intelligence shines through in thoughtful conversations, and I’m also deeply musical, often finding joy in playing and sharing music.

I’m driven by a big dream of one day starting my own hostel, creating a welcoming space for travellers to connect and explore. My love for travel has already taken me across Central America for three months, where I immersed myself in the different cultures, met incredible people, and had some unforgettable experiences. I’m excited to continue exploring the world, contributing through volunteering, and learning from every journey along the way :)

I’m social and able to connect with anyone, making me great at hosting people and ensuring guests feel welcome—I’ve worked at international events where engaging with others and creating a positive atmosphere were key. I’m a decent cook, comfortable preparing meals for groups. I’m highly organized, able to manage tasks efficiently and keep things running smoothly, whether it’s coordinating daily responsibilities or planning events. As a former physics teacher, I bring clear teaching experience, which can help with sharing knowledge or leading activities for guests. I’m tech-savvy, with experience in social media marketing, managing online platforms effectively to promote the hostel. Finally, I have practical handyman skills, having converted a van into a campervan last summer, handling carpentry and basic electrical work, which could be useful for maintenance tasks around the hostel :)

I love sideways sports, surfing, snowboarding and occasionally skateboarding too! I enjoy playing golf, this is a great social activity for me and a fantastic excuse to bring your friends together to go for long walks and hang out for the weekend!

I used to work in video games development with my brothers, so I have a lifetime of experience playing all sorts of games. I love playing all games, and the interaction it brings with others. Board games, dinner games, garden games, sports, quizzes, you name it, I love playing and competing with others.
