Hello world!

As CoViD19 turned everybody’s life upside down - my plans on traveling to South Asia and through Europe got cancelled, too.

I am still new to workaway (only looking at destinations since 2020) and I think this is the perfect way to travel alone without being alone. I still want to see more of the world, enjoy and admire nature, be part of something meaningful.

My first language is German, my English is quite ok, I have very basic knowledge of French and would like to learn Portuguese. I do have experience in gastronomy – worked at events and restaurants (putting up tables etc. and serving food) and had cooking classes at school, improved my skills in (vegan/vegetarian) cooking later on. After school I studied journalism for a couple of years and graduated in graphic design.

For almost 10 years I have been working as an art director in the advertising business in Austria and Germany, creating for different brands. I started into self-employment in the beginning of 2021, and I am happy about that desicion. It gives me more balance, freedom and joy to help with different projects.

I am a good (vegan) cook – at least for my taste :) I love to experiment with food and am secretly dreaming of having my own restaurant, some day. I am a quick learner and not afraid of getting my hands dirty. I am an open minded and open person, maybe a bit shy in the beginning. I like adventures, challenges and I am curious to explore hidden places and try new things.
I am a sportive person (mostly yoga, hiking, bouldering) and like to meditate or just sit and enjoy nature and stare at the moon or the ocean for hours :)

I’m looking forward to new experiences :)

I have experience in gastronomy/hospitality. I did 200h yoga teacher training (never got into teaching tho). I can take pictures or short clips for instagram. I am a creative person and can help with painting or building stuff. I am flexible and open, I learn and adapt quickly to new situations or challenges and keep an overview of tasks , I like to try and learn new things and help wherever I can :)
