Description
I am a teacher and social worker doing workaways during school holidays to explore, meet new friends and learn skills along the way. I am very interested in farming, sustainable communities and permaculture, i also love animals.
I am friendly, outgoing and happy to work on lots of different types of projects. I grew up on a small farm so love being outside, planting vegetables, caring for animals and living with the rhythm of the seasons.
I love hearing people's stories and learning about other countries and cultures.Interests

More details about your skills
I set up a small community farm in Australia with friends to learn about permaculture and growing food, i lived there for three years and learnt a lot about communal living. Now I have my own home with vegie garden, chooks and fruit trees. I am quick to learn and can help with small scale building projects, can use tools and am fit and healthy. I can ride motorcycles and drive cars and tractors.
I have worked in Australia in social support services with lots of different people from many backgrounds and age groups, including people who have fled war as refugees and migrants coming to live in Australia. This has given me skills in empathy, understanding, flexibility and communicating with a wide range of people.Age
