I decided to leave my full-time job in the UK in July 2022 to go and volunteer at a dog shelter on Koh Chang in Thailand for 2 months. From there I've been travelling South East Asia, expanding my knowledge of cultures and places.

I have a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility. I love meeting new people and experiencing new places. Workaway seems like the ideal platform for me to continue doing this on my journey.

I have worked as an English teacher, both abroad and in the UK (at the university level) for 10 years, so I am able to teach English to non-native speakers.

I was also involved in digital education, and am able to video edit, design online courses, and I have a knowledge of website building.

I am also a proofreader, and so can check English text with a very high level of proficiency.

Aside from this, I'm a people person. I'm cheerful and able to speak and interact with anyone, of any age, and from any walk of life. I also love cooking (and I'm pretty good at it!)
