Description
Hi, we are Alycia and Sam. We are a couple and have been together for almost ten years with significant amounts of that time spent traveling and living abroad. This included teaching various age groups English in Vietnam.
We both enjoy hiking and the outdoors, love animals, and like to take our time traveling so we can get to know a city or a country very well. We have never done Workaway before, but we have met locals on our travels who needed a hand so we have helped out before in exchange for accommodation.
A bit about us as individuals.
Alycia enjoys cooking and baking. She especially likes to learn new recipes and to try to make things from scratch. She has worked in marketing, hospitality, customer service and teaching. And is into being physically active with an interest in hiking, exercise, and yoga.
Sam works remotely for himself in Crypto and has done so successfully for a few years now. He has also worked previously in customer service, sales, and teaching. When not out and about or working, he likes to spend his free time playing chess or video games.

We have both worked in Vietnam as English teachers. He focused more on teaching younger students from kindergarten age to high school. Whereas, I focused more on teenagers and adults. We are both always very interested in learning the language of the country we are in.

Alycia: Experienced cook and baker. Maintaining and keeping a house/apartment organised and clean. Lots of experience with animals. Very good at writing, dealing with people, and planning. Keen to learn more about gardening and DIY.
Sam: Very handy and decent at DIY. Tech-savvy. Knows more than 99% of the population about Crypto and what is happening in those spaces. Great at public speaking, communicating with people despite potential language barriers, negotiating, and working with young children.
