  • More details about your skills

I am a hard worker, and have done physical jobs in the past. These include working in a kitchen (lifting heavy trays, pots and pans, scrubbing dishes etc), working as a football coach (been outside in all weather, packing up equipment, carrying heavy loads), and working in a pub (carrying crates up and down stairs).
I have just worked 7 months full time as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school (ages 7-11), meaning I have professional working experience. The school has a very high number of children whose first language is not English, meaning I have a lot of experience working with people who are less familiar with the English language, massively increasing my communication skills.
I have also done lots of volunteering, including homeless shelters and working with refugees and asylum seekers, meaning I have met people from all different walks of life, which has widened my perspective and massively increased my empathy.
I studied abroad for a year in the USA, meaning I know how to navigate an unfamiliar country.
I have a degree from a Top 100 university (University of Sheffield), in English Language.
I have played for football teams throughout my life, meaning I am great at working in a team.
