Description
My main goal for this trip is to gain some experience and knowledge in permeculture / agroforestry. I have experience working on a few different types of farms but there are some gaps in my knowledge I would love to fill, before I return to the U.S for a new growing season. If there is down time or specific projects to work on my art practice that would be ideal! I also am very excited to be able to explore a new terrain, make connections with like minded people, and get to try new foods and recipes. Hopefully there is an opportunity to practice my Spanish as-well.

I have a certificated in sustainable horticulture and have been working on farms for the last 3 years. I have assisted in farm hand work as-well as greenhouse, hydroponics, and administrative sales work. I am a trained artist and designer and can help with marketing or creative projects as well. I also have experience working at elementary schools, assisting in classroom teaching. I am a fast learner and a hard worker, eager to help in any way I can.
