Hey all!
Welcome to my profile page, my name is Adam. I'm from a small island on the Atlantic Ocean called Cape Breton Island, this is in Nova Scotia, Canada. I've always found joy in embracing the natural world, where life moves at a pace that allows me to truly take it in. Whether I'm going for a hike, cycling through countryside roads, skiing down snowy slopes, swimming in the ocean, or simply resting under a tree in a quiet park, I feel most at home in nature. It’s where I find balance, calm, and connection.

I recently completed my college education whith a focus in Computer Science, and now I'm enjoying a period of travel in the months after graduation. I believe exploring new places and experiencing different cultures is a wonderful way to learn about the world before diving into the next chapter of my career.

I find learning a new language to be a wonderfully engaging activity and has the potential to connect deeper with people while travelling or simply in my home town. I’m very intrigued to learn more about some of the more challenging languages, such as Mandarin and Japanese, because practicing them would make it incredibly special to hold a conversation with a native speaker.I would be more than happy to offer my English skills to anyone that wants to learn!

What else ...

I'm currently cycling around Kyushu island. My route will take me anywhere from high mountain roads to scenic coastal bike lanes. I believe this will offer a beautiful way to explore more of these countries while creating deeper connections with the people I meet along the way.

My trip began in January, where cycled a loop around Taiwan. I stayed in Taiwan for 3 months, now I've arrived in Japan. I'm excited to share my journey of biking through Taiwan and Japan with you!
