What brings me happiness is being outdoors, exploring new places and then coming home with exciting stories to tell.

I finished my studies in springtime last year and after working for a little while, I went to europe to travel and explore, and I had an unbelievably positive experience on a workaway in Austria, and knew this was something I'd have to do much more of. I continued to travel for a few more weeks around scandinavia with friends, which spawned the idea of living in sweden for the winter, which turned out to be an ambitious goal but I had an incredible time. Now I'm back home and planning a summer filled with more adventures to exciting places before I start university in September later this year. I've really discovered my passion for running in the past few years, and I love the idea of using this to help me discover new places, and meet new people. I've learned a lot about the outdoors in the last year, not only from my running adventures, but also spending a lot of time working in farming at home in scotland, and taking every opportunity to learn about nature.

More details about my language interests
I'm very happy to teach english, and my swedish has become quite fluent in the last year - although I'm not quite ready to teach it yet. Would love to improve my German though.

I've had a lot of experience doing 'labouring' jobs outside so I can chop sticks and love helping with heavier jobs in the house and garden - although I do also enjoy working with more creative projects. I have lots of experience working on the farm which I live on, as well as various other farms in the last year, hence I have a good sense when it comes to livestock and growing vegetables. My parents also have a large garden, so even if I don't help them with it as much as I should, I've learnt a lot about how they manage and tend to all the different species.
