Hi there :)

My name is Zuzanna. I'm 27 years old and I come from Poland. I've just graduated with a degree in Psychology, and before starting a full time job, I'm setting off for a six-month trip around East and Southeast Asia. I've been teaching English for some time now, so I can offer language practice while volunteering.

My hobbies and interests are quite broad. I love hiking and long walks, cooking and learning new cuisines (vegetarian and vegan only), dancing, yoga, Pilates, and, above all, meeting people from around the world and learning from them. I also sing, play the cello, appreciate a fascinating book, and won't say no to a good movie ;)

I'm a world lover fond of all its diversity, nature, people, culture, and food -obviously ;D. For me, traveling is an adventure, a way to connect with people, experience Earth's beauty, and live life to the fullest. Besides studying and traveling, I've worked seasonal jobs picking fruits, bartending, waiting tables, and housekeeping.

As a volunteer, I can teach English, help on a farm, cook (vegetarian and vegan), or assist with house chores. I'm a vegetarian, so it's important to me that the farm doesn't breed animals for meat. I enjoy arts and crafts as well and am flexible when it comes to the chores during my stay.

I'm starting my trip on 18.08.2024. My first stop is Delhi and the Golden Triangle in India.
→ After that, I'm planning to stay in Sri Lanka for about a month.
→ Then I will fly to Thailand and Cambodia
→ I will move down south to Indonesia Vietnam, Laos
→ I plan to finish around late February/ mid-July either in Singapore, Laos, Myanmar or India
Plans after leaving Sri Lanka are yet to be clarified.

WorkAway offers quite a number of incredible projects and I hope I will have the chance to contribute to at least a few.

I am a recent graduate in psychology with experience working as a nanny, English teacher, receptionist, sales advisor and social volunteer.
My experience included seasonal jobs as a fruit and vegetable picker, bartender, waitress, barista and housekeeper.

I'm an active person, practicing joga, pilates and hiking on a regular basis.

I have 2 cats which I already miss a lot so I'll be happy to give a hand taking care of house animals :)
