Salut ! Hi!
Je m'appelle Zoe, une jeune femme enthousiaste et travailleuse qui adore tout ce qui est lié à la nature et à la campagne. Je viens d’une petite ville du nord de l’Angleterre, entourée de campagne et cela a certainement inspiré mon amour pour la nature. Au lycée, j’ai étudié la psychologie, la biologie et le français et je prends une année de césure avant d’aller à l’université en septembre 2025.
J’aime beaucoup les langues (je connais un peu l’allemand, un peu le gallois ainsi qu’un français intermédiaire) et j’aimerais parler français plus couramment au cours de la prochaine année.
J’ai étudié le français à l’école pendant 7 ans et j’ai également fait deux voyages en France au cours des 2 dernières années. Premièrement, j’ai visité Nantes et y ai travaillé pendant une semaine dans un restaurant et je suis restée chez une famille d’accueil. Deuxièmement en août 2024 j’ai visité une ville appelée Bagnères de Luchon dans les Pyrénées où je me suis plu à faire des randonnées dans les montagnes, à découvrir le patrimoine français et à participer à la ' Fête des fleurs'.
Je suis une personne calme qui apprécie la tranquilité de la campagne mais aussi j'aime m'amuser et je pense aussi que sortir de votre zone de confort peut vous donner certaines des meilleures expériences de votre vie, donc je ne me dérange pas de me salir les mains! Enfin, je crois qu’il est très important d’avoir un mode de vie sain et d’avoir accès à la nature, alors j’ai hâte de travailler avec vous!
I'm Zoe, an enthusiastic and hardworking young lady who absolutely LOVES anything to do with being outdoors, nature and wildlife. I come from a small town in the north of England which is surrounded by countryside and this has definitely inspired my love for nature. In high school I studied Psychology, Biology and French and I am taking a gap year before going to university in September 2025.
I really enjoy languages (I know a some German, a little Welsh as well as intermediate French!) and I would like to become more fluent in French over this next year or so.
I have studied French in school for 7 years and also taken two trips to France over the last 2 years. Firstly, I visited Nantes and worked for a week in a restaurant there and stayed in a host family and secondly in August 2024 I visited a town called Bagneres de Luchon in the Pyrenees where I enjoyed hiking in the mountains, learning about French heritage and participating in the annual 'Fete de Fleurs'.
I am a calm person who appreciates the quiet of the countryside but is no stranger to fun and I also think that going outside of your comfort zone can give you some of the best experiences of your life so I don't mind getting my hands dirty! Finally, I believe that having a healthy lifestyle and access to nature are so important, so I am looking forward to working with you!

I can speak English natively and have around B2 level French so should be able to communicate well with you. I enjoy outdoor work and physical labour is fine because I am fit and healthy and regularly go running to keep up my fitness levels. I like working with children and I have two younger brothers so I am used to reading stories and playing fun games! I have some experience with horses as I did horse riding for about 3 years but stopped several years ago because of studying and school exams but I really enjoy working with horses. I enjoy listening to music and I play piano and the Irish whistle!
