I was born and raised in a rural area of Fukushima, Japan, where my family runs a small farm. Surrounded by nature from a young age, I developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors. As a child, I was a member of the Boy Scouts, enjoying camping, hiking, and other outdoor adventures.

I find joy in the small, everyday moments of life and am drawn to films, books, and magazines that focus on lifestyle and slow living. Inspired by this, I also create lifestyle-focused videos and share them on YouTube, mainly in the form of vlogs. My channel is called 「Kawara」河原, which means "by the river" in Japanese.

I enjoy capturing quiet, beautiful moments from daily life through my camera and editing them in a cinematic style. Alongside digital creativity, I’m also passionate about working with my hands—growing vegetables, crafting with natural materials like fabric, wood, or even hair, and doing DIY projects. I’ve always loved art and craft classes since I was young, and I still enjoy creating things that are rooted in everyday life.

Inspired by the Scandinavian way of living, I’ll be spending a year in Finland starting July 2025 on a working holiday visa. I'm excited to experience firsthand what makes it one of the happiest countries in the world.

I graduated from the School of Nursing at the University of Tsukuba, one of Japan's top national universities, and hold a license as a registered nurse. In Japan, I worked in the medical field using my professional qualifications.

In terms of language skills, I speak Japanese fluently and can communicate in basic English.

I also have experience in video production, as I run my own YouTube channel where I share lifestyle vlogs. I enjoy filming and editing videos, and I also love photography.

I’ve lived alone in Tokyo for over ten years, which has made me independent and resourceful. I’m good with my hands and enjoy cooking, crafting, sewing, cleaning, and various DIY tasks. I always try to complete everything carefully and thoughtfully.

In Japan, I’ve explored various interests with an open and passionate mindset — I even performed as a stage actress. During my student years, I also worked at Tokyo Disneyland as an attraction cast member, which taught me how to bring joy to others with a positive attitude.

I approach everything with energy, care, and sincerity. I truly hope this experience will be not only meaningful for me, but also bring joy and value to my hosts. I’m excited to contribute and learn during my stay!
