Hey! I’m currently on a gap year before starting my master’s in occupational psychology this September.
Right now, I’m making the most of my time by traveling—starting with six weeks in Japan, then Southeast Asia, and finally Central Asia. I’d love to find a travel buddy for Central Asia since it’s a bit less touristy, and having some company would make the travel better!
As for me, I’m pretty laid-back and easygoing, but I love getting out and exploring—whether that’s hiking, checking out galleries and museums, or sampling all the local food I can find. Always up for new experiences and meeting interesting people along the way!Interests

More details about your skills
I have worked in a variety of jobs, such as a cleaner, tutor, shopkeeper, and food team member. Alongside my work experience, I have completed my Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, which enabled me to volunteer for my local football club, Nightline (a mental health hotline), and a local charity shop.
Language teaching: I have a good level of understanding of both English and Japanese, and my previous tutoring experience should make me an ideal candidate.
Reception and customer-facing roles: With my experience as a shopkeeper and food team member, I have honed my customer service skills. I am comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
Physical labour: While I have no previous experience, I am physically fit and hardworking, so I would have no issues helping out where I can.
Computer literacy: Throughout my university degree, I extensively used Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I am proficient in these programs and can assist with various administrative tasks, document creation, and data management. I was also the social media officer for the Welsh Society, which has allowed me to learn how to design and post on social media channels.Age
