My next destination:
Australia - from Mar 2025 until Mar 2026 View allDescription
More than a year ago, I began a deep introspection.
A quest in which I seek to discover who I am, what I want, what I don’t want, what I love, and what I don’t. I wanted to break free from my automatic behaviors, the gaze of others, and societal expectations.
I grew up in France, in a city that throws us early into what we call in France “the hamster wheel.” So I thought, what better way to find myself than to be alone at the other end of the world?
And here I am in Australia!
I arrived in Melbourne in December. After spending two months there, finding an apartment and a job, I now feel the need to be closer to nature, to live more simply, surrounded by the sounds of nature and birds singing.
What currently fascinates me in life is psychology. I read a lot about it, I meditate, and I strive to find simplicity and mindfulness in everything.Interests

I believe I can help others learn French. It’s the language I grew up with, and over time, I’ve developed a way of explaining things that makes them easier to understand. I try to adapt to each person’s way of learning to make the process as smooth as possible.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

More details about your skills
I grew up in the south of France with my mother and my two younger twin sisters. Since I was the only man in the house, I took care of absolutely everything. As a result, I became a very responsible person from a young age. I’m a very hands-on person, and I love working with my hands—it’s something that comes naturally to me. My grandfather was a carpenter, so I guess I inherited that skill.
I’ve always been comfortable fixing, building, and creating. Over the years, I’ve done all sorts of things: I built a chicken coop and took care of my chickens, maintained the garden, trimmed hedges and trees, mowed the lawn, installed gutters, set up a vegetable garden, repaired broken household items, fixed the vacuum cleaner, cleaned the air conditioning, and assembled all kinds of furniture. Any household appliance we bought—I was the one who installed it.
When we remodeled my mother’s kitchen, I took charge of everything. I ordered all the materials, purchased everything, did all the cutting, assembled the cabinets, and repainted the walls. I also took care of finishing the garage, insulating it, installing plants, painting, and handling the interior decoration.
On top of that, I have several younger siblings I’ve helped look after. I’ve also done dog sitting and taken care of various animals. Many people in my family work in construction, including masonry, so I’ve worked alongside them to earn some money while learning a lot of valuable skills.
Because of this early experience, I’ve developed a strong sense of responsibility. I know how to handle challenges, take initiative, and adapt to different situations, which has shaped me into the person I am today.Age
