Hi, I’m Yanis, I am a French studying engineering in the fields of energy and mechanics and I am currently studying in Stockholm. I am eager to learn new things and would love to get experience in new areas, I am always willing to help with anything.
I grew up playing an array of sports; rugby, handball, swimming, running, judo, surfing and I am always really to play new ones!
Some topics that I really like are mythologies of various regions in the world, astronomy, Japanese lifestyle.
One of my favorite quotes is “Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever” from Mahatma Gandhi.
I am looking forward to hearing from anyone who is interested in hosting me and sharing their culture and experiences with me!

I am used to working in groups through school and rugby. I have worked several summers in an experimental farm where I learned many things about fruit trees and I developed some skills such as picking fruit, pruning trees and DIY.
I already had two experiences as a volunteer, one where I joined a meditation centre in Ireland where I cleaned the centre and helped with the cooking, and the other one I help with some DIY projects and gardening.
I can help with farms, animals, cleaning, teaching, sharing language and anything you can teach me.
I am a quick learner, high energy, always find the bright side of things and a solution to problems.
