Hello! My name is Xin Yue, but you can call me Better. I’m a recent university graduate from China, currently participating in a project in Alaska to experience cultural life. After this project, I am eager to explore more cities and cultures to enrich my future possibilities.
I have a friendly personality and enjoy making friends, singing, dancing, and photography. Traveling to experience local customs and traditions is a passion of mine—I’ve explored much of China and am excited to discover new places. I also love sports, including skiing, badminton, taekwondo, and yoga, which keep me active and energetic. Cooking and baking are other passions of mine; I enjoy preparing various Chinese dishes such as sweet and sour ribs, dumplings, and tomato beef stew.
Through Workaway, I hope to learn about different cultures, experience diverse lifestyles, and connect with people. I look forward to living with you, sharing meals and stories, and learning each other’s languages. I speak Chinese and English and am eager to learn more Spanish and French. Can’t wait to meet you!
