Description
Hello, I'm Vlad! I'm a 34-year-old Mexican-American English teacher. I was born in Mexico and was raised in both Mexico and the US. I have attended college in both countries, so I'm fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
I graduated high school in San Diego, California. My first experience travelling for work was as an archaeological illustrator and instructor in San Ignacio, Belize, where I spent one month. Some time after that, I acquired my ESL-teaching certificate and moved to Istanbul, Türkiye to work for a year . Then, I moved to Guadalajara, Mexico, where I attended university for architecture and also worked as an English teacher for some years.
When the pandemic hit, I moved back to San Diego and travelled back and forth between the US and Mexico while teaching English both online and on-site.
Currently, I'm taking time off from teaching and trying to gain as much experience as possible in everything related to agriculture, architecture, and sustainability in general in order to start my own ecovillage or similar community with my family in Arizona's Mohave county.

I'm good at drawing and designing, and am passionate about everything and anything relating to architecture. I can cook, clean, and garden fairly well. I can speak fluently, teach, and interpret English and Spanish. I'm energetic and good with people and animals. I like working with tools, and would like to gain more experience in that area. Overall, I'm a self-motivated person who is thirsty for knowledge and cultural exchanges and whatever I lack in knowledge, I make up for with good attitude and willingness to learn.
