So I’m new on Workaway, I’m really interested to meet new people and discuss about life.

Hey,
So my name is Victor I’m eighteen years old and I live in France near a medium-sized city Limoges.
I’m medical student and I really want to improve my English to be able to travel all around the world and maybe one day work in different countries.

I really like sports, streching, meditation, yoga and self developement. I love to meet new people and discuss about our life any topics.

I love the nature, knowing new places and especially new cultures. I really like to cook and learn new recipes in new countrys.
Also of course I love being surrounded by animals, plants, kids and I enjoy all work that is in nature.

I help at home for pretty everything, I cook everyday for my family since I’ve finished my year at the university, I also help with DIY, I take care of the garden and gardering.
We have a dog at home but I don’t have experience with animals other than pets. But I’m really interested to learn how take care of them. I have an older brother and a younger sister, and we've played together a lot, so I enjoy being around children.

For my first Workaway, I couldn’t dream better experience.
Guillem and Dom were amazing with me and with everybody. They trully want to include you in the project and do everything they can to help you in any point. Thank you both of you for what you taught me about living in nature, taking care of kids trying to solve each problem you can face… read more during this type of adventure and thanks for all our great discussions.

This workaway is different from the others workaway because you live with everyone and spend almost all of your time with the monitors and the kids. The first 4 days were completely in nature, sleeping under the stars, hiking during few hours and then setting up the camp, diging holes for our natural needs, and playing a lot of games with the kids. You can also discover or practice activities like climbing, cooking, rappelling, having a shower in a river or playing night games.
Then we arrived to a Chalet where we spent few days, only one bathroom for 35 persons seemed like the most amazing thing in the world. We played a lot of games by team (team blue 💜) such as water games, card games, night games and a bingo with tasks around the Chalet.

All the monitors were amazing, I can assure you that you will spend a wonderful time with them, talking, playing, eating…
Almost all of the kids were awesome, some are really smart and multilingual, usually you have to speak French with almost all the kids and English with monitors. So if you want to improve a language, this workaway can help you like it did for me.
Any type of experience like driving, games creation, climbing, taking care of kids can be a plus but you can also learn a lot during this workaway.

It was really the experience I needed, cut from the world, being in nature with new people and take all the love that kids can give to you (and that’s a lot you can trust me). I can’t explain everything just by words, it’s an experience you have to live to understand everything that is written.
I can give you one advice for you who read this is send a message, if you like nature and kids you won’t be dissapointed.

To finish I want to add some words for all the monitors I discovered. You already know that but thank you from the bottom of my hurt, you were awesome with me, even If I was the younger nobody maked me feel like it, hope to see you again in an another camp or another trip!
