Description

Hi! We are Victor and Raquel, a Spanish couple who are currently traveling around the world and working on our non-profit project to sustain a school in India.
We love sports and being outdoors, especially yoga, running, hiking and dancing. We have traveled together in many parts of the world and we love to discover the authenticity of each country and not to stay in the touristic parts. That's why we like to travel always meeting local people, living with locals and volunteering. We are new to workaway but we are looking forward to collaborating in the different projects and making new connections with the whole community 😊.
We speak perfect Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and Czech so we can help with everything related to languages.
Professionally, Victor works on digital marketing so he can help with all kinds of marketing tools and social media. Raquel works on the field of sustainability consulting so she can help in the design and implementation of projects that are sustainable and responsible with people and the environment.

We are eager to start our adventure with workaway and more than happy to have a conversation to see if there is a match between our interests and your projects!

Victor studied Agricultural Engineering but has always been working in the field of marketing. He has more than 11 years of experience working as a digital marketing specialist managing companies' online campaigns and analyzing their results (paid media, SEO, ecommerce, social media...). He speaks perfect spanish, english, portuguese and czech as he was living in the Czech Republic for 5 years.

Raquel studied two degrees, International Studies and Business Administration and has been working in different roles related to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. She has a great experience in designing projects that remain sustainable in the long term and responsible with the planet. She speaks perfect spanish, english and french.

We as a couple have a nonprofit project in a school in India and have volunteered with different ngos in several countries. That's why we have a lot of experience in volunteering and are very flexible and adapt to all types of tasks needed (painting, accounting, managing social media, building, fixing roofs and walls, cooking, gardening...)

We have also repaired Victor's family house in a village in the mountains of Leon (Spain), we loved doing it! We fixed the furniture, painted the walls, fixed the roof, it totally changed!!

But what we like the most is to talk with people and help them so everything related with supporting a community or doing customer service is what we do best!

We did not mention some of our biggest hobbies!!

Victor loves playing football and climbing! And well, he is an amazing chef and loves cooking!

Raquel loves doing theatre, she is been playing since she was little! And she loves doing everything related with performing arts!

In the last years, we both have started our journey in self-development and have done and designed some personal development programs that cover yoga, meditation, neuroscience and several reflection activities. We love discovering how we as humans work and feel and sharing it with the rest!
