Hey there,
My name is Verena, I’m 25 years old, and I come from Cologne, Germany. I’m an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors. I love activities like going to the gym, biking, hiking, and running.

Nature is very important to me—it helps me relax and recharge. Gardening, in particular, has always been a calming hobby for me.

I’m also a creative and crafty person. I enjoy knitting, sewing, making candles, solving puzzles, and drawing.

Cooking is another passion of mine, and I place great value on maintaining a healthy diet. I’m vegetarian but more than happy to cook vegan dishes as well!

Although I consider myself introverted, I’m also very social and love spending time with others. I’d love to stay in a place where I can share experiences, make memories, and connect with people.

I absolutely adore animals. I have a cat at home and cherish every moment spent playing or cuddling with him.

This will be my first time traveling alone, and I’m excited to step out of my comfort zone. I want to explore new countries, immerse myself in different cultures, and improve my English along the way.

I’d love to stay somewhere I can contribute meaningfully and feel involved, even during my free time.

One thing to note: I don’t have a driver’s license yet. However, I’m happy to get around by bicycle, bus, or train.

I am a very persistent person when it comes to tasks and projects. If something doesn’t work out the first time, I don’t get discouraged. I’m always ready to try again and figure out another way. I’m also always eager to learn and open to feedback, whether it’s tips, tricks, or suggestions for improvement. I enjoy growing my skills and knowledge, so I appreciate any help I can get.
When it comes to being outdoors, I have no problem with bad weather. I believe there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes! I’m perfectly fine being outside, no matter what the weather’s like. On top of that, I can cook mostly vegetarian or vegan meals, so I’m pretty flexible in the kitchen. Physically, I’m quite active, so physical tasks are never an issue for me. I’m a sporty person and enjoy staying fit. Over the past three years, I’ve worked with teenagers (ages 12 to 21) at a youth center, so I have experience working and spending time with older kids, teens and young adults. As I mentioned before, I’m also a creative and crafty person who loves diy-projects. I enjoy coming up with new ideas and working on hands-on projects. I’m also calm around animals, and I’m not afraid of pets at all. I feel comfortable with them and can stay relaxed around them. Lastly, I have some gardening experience and have completed several small projects at home. I’m also quite comfortable using computers when necessary, so I’m happy to handle any tech-related tasks if the situation calls for it. Last but not least, I am better at writing in English than speaking English. However, it is a goal of mine to improve my English along the way.
